This initiative aims to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of the Hindu community in Australia and promote awareness of Hindu culture and heritage.

“In the last two decades whole of Australia has fallen in love with Diwali.”
“Diwali is recognition of fundamental values of positivity, unity, generosity success and coming together of the community.”
“These values have made people who practice Hindu faith so successful across Australia and globally.”
“It is important to recognize Diwali in Australian Calendar and to call this month as Hindu Heritage Month which also include other important festivals of the Hindu faith.”
– We should support Hindu education across Australia
– Call out Hinduphobia when it occurs & take a stand against it.
– Hindu Heritage Month is an occasion to reflect values that Hindu Community have brought to Australia.
