Acts of violence and hatred have no place in our society and stand in direct opposition to Australia values — respect, inclusivity, and living peacefully together, no matter your faith or background. Attempts to sow fear or division strike at the heart of who we are, and we unequivocally reject them.
At this time of sorrow, Optics Australia is in solidarity with the Jewish Community. The values of tolerance, equality and justice form a cornerstone for the multicultural nation of Australia. As individuals and as institutions must work collectively to reaffirm our commitment to these values so Australia continues to be a country where diversity is celebrated, peaceful dialogue is promoted and Hate has no Home.
